From school i worked for Dilworth and Morris at their trade counter as an engineers merchant, i learned many things in the engineering field and take lots of this knowledge through to my 50's, at a time in my life when i craved knowledge Dilworth and Morris was paramount in my development and gave me a firm foothold as to where my life has taken me, i now use lots of that knowledge in my own small workshop, weather it be tooling, the tools themselves, materials, fasteners and threads, all pitches, sizes and threadforms BSW,BSF,UNC,UNF,BA or metric both coarse and fine, i look back on my time there and i will always be thankful to them for their time with me.

Learned my trade as a PCB assembler, took it further to become a Ferranti approved Technician while at Subtec, built many different circuits for many different industries both military and civilian, from an early stage in my working development i worked to BS5750 which developed further throughout my working life, the latest standard i worked to was ISO9001.
