  • Lead experimental crystal growth projects, coordinate suppliers, train
  • technicians, and contribute to integrating innovative equipment. Mid-term:
  • team leadership, tech innovation, and scouting.
Research Intern
SIMAP
Mar 2025 — Sep 2025Grenoble, France
  • Depositing a layer of SiC on Si substrate with SiO2 layer on top using Low Pressure Chemical Vapor deposition (LP-CVD), varying the temperature and NH3 flow to see their effect on the film properties.
  • Then doing some characterization such as SEM, XPS to know the composition of the deposited layer, XRD to study the structure of it, Profilometery to have an idea about the residual stresses developed,
  • Ellipsometery to check the thickness uniformity and 4-Point probe test to measure the film resistivity.
Research Assistant
Technical University of Darmstadt
Dec 2023 — Jul 2024Darmstadt, Germany
  • Measuring the superconductivity of Niobium-Tin thin films by the
  • cryostat test and doing XRD analysis for these films to study their structure.
Projects
Materials selection project, Grenoble-INP Phelma.

Analyzing four promising lithium alloy anode materials such as lithium-silicon (Li-Si), lithium-tin (Li-Sn), lithium-boron (Li-B), and lithiumaluminum (Li-Al) and use CES software to select the most appropriate candidate.

Materials selection
Solar cell manufacturing and characterization, Grenoble-INP Phelma.

Fabrication of a solar cell on a silicon wafer with a layer of SiO2 by photolithography in the clean room and then characterizing the efficiency of the fabricated solar cell.

Photolithography
Advanced Research Lab, Technical University of Darmstadt.

Studying the effect of powder particles size on the effective thermal conductivity of porous materials using moose software, dealing withGeoDict software to generate the microstructures.

Research lab
Ball milling of Aluminum and Graphene Nano-Composite, German University In Cairo.

Developing an Aluminum Matrix Composite with improved mechanical properties. The developed composite was reinforced with magnetitenanoparticles and graphite as a source of graphene. The technique used in making this composite was the ball milling technique.
