an AI-powered software that analyzes passersby’s faces in real time to predict age and gender and then displays targeted advertisements. Another example is AgeBot, an Android application that estimates age and gender from photos using facial recognition. Motivated by these real-world examples, I developed a simplified version of an age and gender detection system. In this project, we detect faces from webcam/video feed and apply Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to estimate age and gender.
