I am studying Computer Science at Western Caspian University and have practical knowledge in the Network Technician field. I am focused on the infrastructure side of IT, with hands-on knowledge of OSI layers, switch and router configuration, subnetting, and network troubleshooting. I combine the engineering and systems foundation gained at university with my practical networking experience. I also have experience installing, configuring, and maintaining end-user equipment, including PCs, printers, IP phones, and peripheral devices. I am familiar with installing and managing Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as providing driver and software support. Additionally, I have knowledge of Active Directory, including configuring user accounts, permissions, and domain policies.
Hands-on knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP models, IPv4 addressing and subnetting, with the ability to troubleshoot common network connectivity issues using Ping, Traceroute, IPConfig, NSLookup and Netstat.
Practical experience with Cisco Packet Tracer and basic Cisco IOS configuration, including router and switch setup, hostname configuration, interface activation, basic access settings and network topology creation.
Knowledge of first-line technical support, including diagnosing user issues related to internet connectivity, network access, IP and DNS configuration. Able to approach problems step-by step, starting from physical connections and moving toward network and software-level troubleshooting.
Understanding of basic network security concepts such as Switch Port Security and Standard ACLs, including controlling device access and allowing or restricting communication based on MAC addresses, IP addresses and subnets.
Practical knowledge of Windows network configuration, including static IP, DNS and File & Printer Sharing. Familiar with Linux CLI and basic network commands such as ip, ping and netstat.
Practical experience with WordPress, Elementor and Divi, including responsive page creation, plugin and theme configuration, database connection management and troubleshooting common website issues.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Firewall concepts and SIEM, with an understanding of user and access management, network traffic filtering, security events and basic log monitoring.
