MCKINLEY VERY

I am a reliable, friendly and motivated individual, happy to collaborate as part of a team, or in an independent role. I have experience working in a vintage clothing shop and have worked with my family manning a stall at vintage fairs for the last few years. I am confident talking to customers and helping with visual displays, as well as helping with the physical work, loading and unloading. I am polite and hardworking. I'm interested in music and play bass in my spare time. I am health conscious and regularly spend time running, or at the gym. I also enjoy cooking and eating out with friends and family.

  • Reference: McKinley Very did work experience at our shop during the summer of 2025 He arrived promptly on time & smartly presented. During the two days McKinley was very eager to learn about the runnings of a vintage clothing shop & picked things up very quickly. After a very short period of time he was able to successfully serve customers & had a great rapport with them. He was shown & was able to carry out various shop tasks including opening up the shop, display of items & clothing, pricing items, customer serving, steaming clothes, IZettle PDQ operation, cash handling, clothes folding techniques, English & American styles of lacing boots & general cleanliness & upkeep of the shop. Overall he was a pleasure to work with & after a short period of time I was confident that he could carry out most tasks on his own & had successfully retained all the information he was given. He has a very calm & professional manner & a positive outlook. Simon Bridger, Proprietor, Giant Vintage Clothing
