LEILA GOLZARI PARTO Climatologist | Regional Climate Modeling | Earth System Science

Climatologist with an M.Sc. in Climatology and hands-on experience in regional climate modeling, numerical model configuration, climate-model output processing, and model validation. Experienced in configuring and running RegCM4.1 in a Linux environment, developing and modifying Fortran scripts, processing NetCDF model outputs, and using GrADS for climate-data visualization and spatial analysis. My research has focused on climate–environment interactions, particularly the climatic consequences of Lake Urmia drying in northwestern Iran. I have experience evaluating regional climate simulations against observational station data using statistical measures including bias, RMSE, and correlation. I am interested in extending my experience from regional climate modeling toward Earth system modeling, climate-system feedbacks, and responses to large-scale perturbations.
