KEY RESPONSIBILITY
  • Implementation of case management activities for children -their parent, caregiver, and families in need.
  • The child protection casework officer intervenes in the case identification and registration case planning refer and follow-up of the beneficiaries in collaboration with community health volunteers.
  • Supervise and provide training for community mentors’ own resources person in structural case management to reinforce their skills and capacity to conduct an interview, fill data collection form refers and fellow-up with children at the household level.
  • Regularly fellow-up the assigned case to ensure all services and action points, listed in the case plan are carried out within the agreed time frame.
  • Ensure that progress is regularly reviewed.
  • Regularly monitor and provide support to children and families through visitors providing guidance and advice.
  • Work closely with CHW psychosocial team members in the identification of psychosocial distress cases and make appropriate references to the psychosocial team for help.
  • Good interpersonal communication and team player.
  • Support clients and communicate with them in a positive and encouraging way.
  • Ensure that issues for child protection are raised and addressed.
