Developed an AI-based web application that extracts medicine information from labels using OCR and computer vision. Used OpenCV for image preprocessing and enhancement to improve text recognition. Implemented Tesseract OCR to extract medicine names and dosage-related information from uploaded images. Applied NLP techniques to simplify and present medicine information in an easy-to-understand format. Developed a Flask backend to connect the AI processing with the web interface. Added support for medicine information, scan history, and multilingual/voice assistance as project features.
