Bobby Joe Edgar
I’m a Level 3 Film student at Belfast Metropolitan College with 4–5 years of experience in filmmaking, videography and editing. I’m passionate about storytelling and enjoy working across different areas of production. I’ve worked on personal projects including a documentary about my mum’s mental health and my own short film Final Boarding Call, which follows a Belfast man overcoming his fear of flying to pay his respects to his wife, who died during the September 11 attacks. I’ve also worked as a videographer for St Gerard’s school, producing their formal and leavers videos, as well as capturing drone footage. My post-production experience includes editing, colour grading, sound syncing and exporting. I enjoy working as part of a team and have experience in roles including camera, lighting, sound, 1st AD and directing. I’m always keen to learn, help others and gain more experience within the film industry.
- Assisted the Boom Operator during filming
- Recorded and monitored audio using DJI wireless microphones for the actors
